Meet Mrs. Williams-Bey

Knowledge is wealth, and I want to share mine with you.

I'm a seasoned CEO with over 17 years of experience and three businesses. Today, I'm thriving – but that wasn't always the case.

My journey has taken me from barely completing high school to a college graduate, multi-business owner, award-winning author, and motivational speaker. The path to get here wasn't easy.

I believe in sharing my experiences so others can avoid my mistakes – and find their path to success, faster. I now serve as a consultant to aspiring entrepreneurs, start-up companies, and established businesses.

Who is Mrs. Williams-Bey?

I’m an ordained prophet, author, speaker, consultant, and business mogul.  I’m a four-time business owner and the founder of Heaven Sent Child Care LLC, Spring Forth LLC, Williams-Bey Radio Show, and Dream Productions Inc. (co-owner).

I’m a six-time published author. In 2016, I was recognized as an ACHI magazine award-winning author. You can check out my books here.

Oh, and I recently launched my radio show, The Mrs. Williams-Bey Radio Show, on Rejoice-101.3.

All of that? It doesn’t mean much. Accolades and accomplishments aside, I am just Cynthia: a widow, a mother of 6, and a person who lives to serve others.

Here’s My Real Story

It felt like everyone was counting me out. So, I decided to count myself back in.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I felt overlooked by society from an early age. School was a challenge for me, and I barely graduated from high school.

I relocated to Richmond, Virginia, right after 9/11. I was on my own, a single mom with no support system. Uncertain about my purpose in life, I got a job at a bank.

I was trying to make my way, providing for my son while struggling to fit in corporate America. When my son got sick, I found the system failing me. Corporate America doesn't cater to single moms.

I was lost, unsure how to care for my son and keep my job. So, I cried out to God for help – and he answered.

Sitting in my cubicle, I was struck by a memory of my mom caring for me and my siblings. She was a single mom, managing six kids with support from family, friends, and neighbors. As they say, it takes a village.

That flashback showed me my future. I knew I wanted to found a daycare. That was the start of Heaven Sent Child Care. I started it in my 1 bedroom apartment, with no capital, no savings, and no backup plan.

In 2011, I moved the business from my one-bedroom apartment to my first commercial facility. I graduated from college and earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development that same year.

And I hustled, learned, improved, and grew my business every year and went from making $20,000 a year to now grossing over Half a Million Dollars in revenue a year.

Why Should You Trust Me with Your Story?

Everybody has potential. I help people tap into theirs.

Mrs. Williams-Bey

My number one focus is serving. I have a strong passion for helping people, especially individuals who have been overlooked, marginalized, or dealt a bad hand.

This commitment to service runs deep. I'm the daughter of Wilma-Jean & James "Rocky" Robinson, the founder of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the first African American volunteer ambulance organization.

Here are some of the ways I love to serve:

  • Under my previous ministry, I  served for 11 years and led the Community Outreach team. I have also served as a missionary and traveled to Honduras twice in the ministry’s service.

  • I also give back by supporting the Care of Children Haiti charity, based out of Ville De Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, with monthly food and support.

  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, my non-profit fed over 4,000 meals to families in need from May to August 2020 and raised over $5,000 to help struggling daycare businesses in the community.

  • I was chosen out of 100's of applicants in the State of Virginia to go through the State of Virginia and Interises "Scale For Growth" Street Wise MBA Program Cohort 9 for Seasoned Exects. I graduated in August 2021 and received recognition from the Senator of Virgina.

My Motto: God Can’t Bless a Mess

That's a favorite saying of mine. It might sound harsh, but it's just a kind reminder – a reminder that if you set yourself up for success, God will make sure success finds you. That's what I help people do.

One of the most important ways I give back is through helping people like you. With my motivational speaking and business coaching services, I help people find and manifest their purpose in life.

Media Appearances
